NetBoss a hit at Comptel Plus Fall 2011, MetaSwitch User and UTC Region 3 Conferences
Comptel
The weather in Orlando (low humidity) was perfect for the golf outing and seeing the sites so it is no wonder that the Comptel show had a great turn-out. The NetBoss booth was no exception. There was particular interest by service providers in managing fiber networks and performing automated root cause analysis. MetaSwitch User Conference
NetBoss Technologies participated in the Metaswitch Forum 2011 which was an M-Powering Event. NetBoss provided demonstrations of its advanced root cause analysis capabilities that include correlation of events from the Metaswitch Integrated Softswitch and optical network termination devices. In addition, demonstrations of the latest NetBoss Executive Dashboard application, which is available as an app on smart phones and tablets, was available for real time viewing. To round out the product suite, Network Acuity was presented as NTI’s new cloud based network management solution allowing IOCs to operate their networks more efficiently.
UTC Region 3 conference
Greenville SC is a great town to have a conference. Main Street provides plenty of atmosphere, eateries and night clubs. This regional conference provided many details on Utility Telecom FCC licensing hurdles, a review of a Duke Energy Telecom Network, microwave path engineering tips and hints, as well as a review of robust telecommunications infrastructure, to name a few. The conference was packed with information and there were plenty of vendors displaying their products at the 3 hour exhibit on Wednesday night. NetBoss Technologies booth was a hit demonstrating how alarm correlation and RCA can significantly reduce Utility Telecom and data network MTTR A sneak peak of Network Acuity NIT’s new cloud based service was also a hit.
